- Ordinary text PDFs (Standard mode): free, no page limit
- DOCX, RTF, TXT, ODT, HTML and Markdown files: free, no page limit
- Fixed layout (every PDF page kept as an image): free
- EPUB to PDF, AZW3 (Kindle) or MOBI: free
- Scanned pages: the first 10 pages that need OCR or text-layer recovery, combined, are free in each book

## Scanned PDFs without an account (paid per book)
- OCR beyond the free pages: $0.015 per page
- Recovering an existing text layer beyond the free pages: $1.99 per book ($2.00 for books of 500 or more such pages)
- Every paid anonymous book costs at least $1.39 and at most $3.49
- Pro recognition is not available without an account

## Credits (signed-in accounts)
- New accounts start with 30 free credits
- Buy 250–2,500 credits in steps of 50
- $0.0125 per credit at 250 credits, $0.0001 less per credit for every 50 more, down to $0.008 per credit
- Purchased credits do not expire
